WORCESTER – More than a dozen were arrested in the Main South area of Worcester on Thursday and Friday and face prostitution related charges, according to the Worcester Police Department.
Based on complaints from local business owners and residents, Worcester PD Vice Squad conducted the two-day operation. Ten females charged were arrested and charged with offering to engage in sexual conduct for a fee.
The following people were arrested and face charges of sexual conduct for a fee.
- Steven Harris (27) of 9 Sigourney Street, Worcester
- Angel Lugo (58) of 12 Shrewsbury Green Drive, Shrewsbury
- Ramadan Mohamed Ahmed (31) of 687 Millbury Street, Worcester
- Daniel Seda (41) of 16 Perkins Street, Worcester
- John Ward (58) of 7 Mill Street, Webster
- James Ward (44) of 19 Oak Street, Barre
According to WPD operations aimed as suppressing prostitution focuses on those seeking services. Females arrested are offered pre-arraignment services through District Attorney Joseph Early’s Office.
