19-Year-Old Worcester Man Faces Illegal Firearms Charges

WORCESTER - A police firearms investigation on Arrowsic St. on Wednesday, February 3, left a man facing firearms related charges.

Officers identified Wallace Mainia, 19, of Worcester, wearing a fanny pack around his chest at around 5:30 PM. Mainia admitted having a firearm and additional ammunition in the basement when asked by an officer.

Police found a loaded firearm in the fanny pack and additional ammunition in a separate bag.

Mainia faces the following charges:

  • Improperly Storing a Large Capacity Firearm
  • Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm
  • Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License
  • Possession of a Firearm Without An Fid Card
  • Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device
  • Possession of Ammunition Without An Fid Card.
