Two Men Arrested for Three Overnight Break-ins in Worcester

WORCESTER – Police arrested two men early Wednesday morning for three separate commercial break-ins overnight in Worcester.

On Tuesday, January 19, Worcester Police responded to a commercial alarm at Fiddler’s Green Pub on Temple Street. at around 11:30 PM. Police found shattered glass at the entrance. Surveillance video revealed two men stealing several bottles of alcohol.

The second incident brought police to No Name Grocery on Vernon Street for an attempted breaking and entering around 2:45 AM on Wednesday, January 20. Surveillance video there showed the two suspected appeared to be the same individuals.

Just after 3 AM, another commercial alarm brough police to North East Electrical on Cambridge Street. Officers again found the front entrance shattered.

Additional officers responding to the scene observed two men walking along Millbury Street fitting the description provided of the men seen on previous surveillance video. The men possessed items from the electrical store, according to the Worcester Police Department.

The men, Alexander Deayala, 44, of Leominster, and Lawrence Gaul, 41, of Worcester, both faces charges of:

  • Three counts of willful and malicious destruction of property.
  • Three counts of breaking and entering into a building during the nighttime with intent to commit a felony
  • Two counts of larceny from a building.
