WORCESTER – At around 11 PM on Monday, July 20, Worcester Police officers arrived at the intersection of Pleasant St. and Piedmont St. to investigate a report of shots fired. Shortly thereafter, officers were notified of a 20-year-old man who arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.
Investigators found damage caused by gunfire to three vehicles and three buildings near Hawley St.
The investigation is ongoing.
