WORCESTER – Twenty-six year old Ryan Decarolis of Fitchburg was arrested and charged with possession and distribution of child pornography in federal court in Worcester on Friday. He faces five to twenty years in prison.
In January, Decarolis used a social media account to transfer child pornography to an unnamed person. In April he provided a link to a Dropbox account that contained images and videos to the same individual. The second person has been charged with production and distribution of child pornography.
At the time of both transfers by Decarolis, federal agents were in control of the receiving account.
Federal agents executed a search warrant at the Fitchburg home of Decarolis. A tablet was seized containing more pornographic material depicting children.
