Three Northbridge Men Face Drug Trafficking Charges

BLACKSTONE – The Northbridge Police and Blackstone Police Departments were part of a six-month, multi-agency investigation that led to the arrest of three men on Wednesday, November 18.

Responding to reports that the men were allegedly selling heroin and fentanyl in the Town of Blackstone, the investigation led to a search at an apartment in Northbridge. During the search, police seized 30 grams of heroin/fentanyl.

The arrested men are:

Bryam Calderon Portes (pictured above), 21, of Northbridge

  • Trafficking in 18 grams or more of Heroin
  • Trafficking in 10 grams or more of Fentanyl
  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law

Albert Alonzo, 21, of Northbridge

  • Trafficking in 18 grams or more of Heroin
  • Trafficking in 10 grams or more of Fentanyl
  • Distribution of a Class A Drug (Heroin/Fentanyl) (Four counts)
  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law

Marlon Brando Calderon Portes, 24, of Northbridge

  • Distribution of a Class A Drug (Heroin/Fentanyl) (Five counts)

The Northbridge Police Department, Blackstone Police Department, Hopkinton Police Department and Blackstone Valley Drug & Counter-Crimes Task Force, in cooperation with the Worcester DEA High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force and the U.S. Attorney General’s Office were all involved in the investigation.
