WORCESTER – A 32-year-old Worcester man was arrested on multiple drug and gun charges stemming from a Feb. 27 search of his residence by troopers from the Mass. State Police [MSP] Detective Units for Worcester and Middlesex Counties.
According to the MSP, Walter Estrada was arrested after a warrant was issued on his 2012 Black Infiniti. Around 6 AM on Feb. 27, MSP troopers located and began surveillance on Estrada’s vehicle. Utilizing the State Police Air Wing, troopers were able to see Estrada enter the Infiniti and followed him for a short time.

Troopers stopped Estrada in his vehicle and placed him under arrest after locating more than 100 grams of crack cocaine in the passenger compartment of the Infiniti. Troopers then obtained a warrant for his residence where they located an additional 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, two stolen firearms, ammunition, digital scales, cash and electronics.
Estrada was transported to the State Police-Framingham Barracks for booking. He was arraigned at Framingham District Court the following day and was charged with trafficking in cocaine.
In addition to that charge, troopers will be filing a criminal complaint for the following charges:
-Trafficking in Cocaine;
-Possession of a Firearm Without a License;
-Possession of Ammunition Without an FID Card;
-Felon in Possession of a Firearm;
-Receiving Stolen Property, under $1200; and
-Conspiracy to Violate Drug laws.
