33-year-old Worcester Man Seriously Injured in Hit and Run on Shrewsbury St

WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Department [WPD] is investigating a hit and run that occurred on Saturday night, Aug. 18, on Shrewsbury St.

According to the WPD, a 33-year-old Worcester man was walking on the sidewalk heading east on Shrewsbury St. when he tried to cross the street and was struck by a vehicle. The man sustained serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital.

The vehicle drove away from the scene of the accident.

Investigators are looking to identify the driver of the vehicle.
