35-Year-Old Worcester Man Arrested on Drug Charges

WORCESTER – Worcester Police arrested a man on an outstanding warrant for cocaine charges Thursday, September 16, and found heroin in his possession during the arrest.

Officers part of the Worcester Police Vice Squad were around Cambridge Street when they observed a man known to have an outstanding warrant at around 1 PM.

Carlos Gomez-Torres, 35, of Worcester, pulled over on McKeon Road after police engaged in a vehicle stop.

Gomez-Torres does not have an active driver’s license and there is a warrant for his arrest for Trafficking in Cocaine.

After placing Gomez-Torres under arrest, officers located heroin in his possession. He will face an additional charge of Trafficking in Heroin over 200 Grams.
