WORCESTER - Massachusetts State Police [MPS] arrested a local man on Sunday, October 31, for gun and drug charges.
A Trooper on Stafford Street saw a black Mazda CX-9 SUV travelling without headlights on at around 2:30 AM and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, David McDade, 36, of Worcester, provided his driver’s license to the Trooper.
The Trooper soon learned that McDade’s license to operate was suspended.
According to MSP, after informing McDade that he’d receive a criminal citation and the vehicle towed, the Trooper found a loaded Smith & Wesson revolver in the center console of the SUV. McDade does not have a license to carry a firearm.
