WORCESTER – A group of around 10 people flagged down a Worcester Police officer on patrol near May St. and Mason St. on Saturday, August 7, to report a female shooting victim nearby.
At around 9:45 PM, the officer located a 38-year-old woman with a gunshot wound.
The officer provided medical aid to the victim until paramedics arrived.
Paramedics transferred the woman to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
