ThisWeekinWorcester.com has a list of events to make your Memorial Day weekend memorable! With three full days off, we have five ways for you to schedule a weekend of fun.

What do you have planned for this weekend? Relax at home with virtual trivia and live streamed plays, or spend your afternoon at awesome venues in the city for live music and scrumptious food.

Peppercorns has you covered for great weekend plans!

Make a reservation at Peppercorns for this Saturday night at 7:30 PM. Reservations are $15 and include seating in their outdoor tents, snacks, and a great seat to see their Tom Petty cover band called Petty Larceny.

Bring the theater into your home this weekend!

All the world’s a stage and now your living room can be one! Tune into Shakespeare’s beloved comedy Loves Labour’s Lost performed by the Stanford Shakespeare Company. Enjoy a matinee this Saturday with the family as the show starts at 10 AM. The performance is free and it will be posted on YouTube.

Make your Sunday lively with the sound of music!

Assemble a team of musical enthusiasts to compete to win the Sound of Music Trivia. This event will be hosted on Facebook by Trivia AD and their host, Genna Matarazzo at 6:30 PM. This trivia night is for pure entertainment and fun, so you will be your own scorekeeper. This game night will surely be one of your favorite things!

Rock the night away!

Bring excitement into your life at Worcester MCL’s live music event! Stop by 181 Lake Avenue to jam out as the band The Superchargers rock the docks! A $5 donation will get you into the party and allow you to dance all night long.

New movies are coming to the big screen!

Stay safe and see newly released movies this Saturday or Sunday at Mendon Twin Drive-in’s Memorial Day weekend.

Screen one will be playing suspenseful movies like A Quiet Place 2 and World War Z while Screen 2 will be playing family friendly movies like Cruella and Raya and the Last Dragon. Tickets are $30 per car, and you can order them online. Enjoy the movie and visit their snack bar, beer garden, or ice cream vendor for a delicious snack.
