There are so many reasons to make plans this weekend! Most children have finished the school year, Friday is a holiday, Father’s day is Sunday, and the weather is looking perfect for your Saturday and Sunday. How will you and your family be spending your weekend?

Rock out this Saturday from 1 PM to 4 PM with your favorite songs from the 1980’s. Indian Ranch in Webster is hosting the performance and doors open at 11:45 AM. General admission to the show is $20 for adults and $10 for children.

Make a furry addition to your family!

Stop by Klem’s at 117 West Main Street, Spencer for a pet adoption event. From 2 PM to 4 PM, Second Chance is driving their Mobile Adoption Unit to the Klem’s parking lot. Stop by and say hello to adoptable dogs in need of a forever home. Only one family is allowed on board at a time and masks are required.

You are invited to the hottest party of the season!

This Saturday, you and your family will have fun all day at Creative Hub Worcester’s Block Party at 661 Main Street in Worcester. The party starts at 12 PM and lasts until 9 PM. This family-friendly, old school Main South Block party is in celebration of artists and musicians. Attendees can look forward to local and live music, raffles, kid activities, and much more.

Do you need Father’s day plans?

Treat the fathers in your life at Altruist Brewing Company this Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM. This Saturday, the band the Drunken Uncles will be kicking off an eventful weekend,  and they will be rocking until 10 PM. With the purchase of a beer, each dad will receive a free pretzel. On Sunday, Paul Courchaine will be playing live music until 6 PM, and a wood fired pizza truck will be serving delicious slices.

Build precious memories with your family.

Does your family like making creative structures out of LEGO? Go to the North Brookfield Free Public Library in North Brookfield this Saturday to meet LEGO building master, Dan Steininger. Dan has been a master LEGO builder for 24 years, and at 10 AM, you can learn how Dan pursued this career and learned to build marvelous models. This program is designed for 7-12 year olds, but others will enjoy it too. Reserve your spot today by calling the library.
