Boy Meets World Trivia Tonight at Beatnik’s 

Join Cory, Shawn, Topanga and Mr. Feeney tonight at Beatnik’s at 433 Park Ave at 8 PM tonight for Boy Meets World trivia.

The enormously popular ’90s sitcom ran more than 150 episodes over seven seasons from 1993-2000. The show was an anchor on the must-see TGIF block on Fridays on ABC and its popularity among the generation of 90s kids resulted in a spin-off show Girl Meets World which ran for 72 episodes between 2014-2017.

Boy Meets World trivia is free and participants could take home $25 in winnings. 

 

Worcester Art Museum to Host One Day Pop-Up, ‘Tropical/Temperate’

The Worcester Art Museum [WAM] will be hosting a Worcester Pop-Up event, “Tropical/Temperate” on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 6 PM to 9 PM.

The one-day exhibit will feature new and existing work from artists Jennifer Teo — of the social art collective Post-Museum in Singapore — and Richard Streitmatter-Tran, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Teo and Streitmatter-Tran have both been selected as Southeast Asia artists-in-residence at WAM.

Worcester Railers Single-Game Tickets Available Now for Pre-Sale

The Worcester Railers announced on Tuesday that single-game tickets are now available through a special pre-sale offer.
 
The pre-sale offer can be found on www.ticketmaster.com or by clicking HERE.
 
In addition, single game tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 10 AM and may be purchased at the DCU Center Box Office, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or by calling the Railers Front Office at 508-365-1750.
 
The Railers will play 36 home games at the DCU Center in Worcester starting on Saturday, Oct. 12 vs. the Adirondack Thunder.

Worcester Real-Estate Market Ranked Among Worst in Country

On Tuesday, the personal-finance website WalletHub released its report on 2019’s Best Real-Estate Markets.
 
Of the 300 real-estate markets ranked in the report, Worcester ranked #237 overall. The city ranked #239 in real-estate market and #187 in affordability and economic environment. 
 
WalletHub compared the 300 cities across 23 key metrics including median home-price appreciation to home sales turnover rate to job growth.
