In today’s edition - Monday, September 20 - in-person Registry of Motor Vehicles services return today in Worcester, the Worcester Red Sox are hosting a ribbon cutting today, Seven Hills Behavior Health center opens today, Ricky Duran released a new single and Taste of Massachusetts is now taking nominations for the title of Best Massachusetts Craft Brewery.
Starting today -- Monday, September 20 -- the Registry of Motor Vehicles [RMV] will begin offering a new wider variety of statewide services to provide convenient service options and flexibility and to continue ongoing efforts that have been put in place to keep customers and staff safe.
The RMV will be reopening the Attleboro Service Center for in-person services by appointment. In addition, 21 statewide Service Center locations will offer appointments for in-person vehicle and driver services, walk-in visits, and Business-to-Business (B2B) needs.
Appointments for driver’s license, identification and vehicle transactions, Business-to-Business Center bulk transactions, and walk-in services will be available today in Worcester, Leominster and 18 other service center locations.
Also starting today, individual registration drop-off services which temporarily replaced Business-to-Business in-person services during the State of Emergency will no longer be available at RMV Service Centers.
The final piece of Polar Park for 2021 will officially be in place after today.
The Worcester Red Sox and the City of Worcester will host a ribbon cutting today at 3 PM on Summit Street. The ribbon cutting will open the pedestrian corridor that completes the "WooSox Loop," a 0.4 mile path that allows fans to walk inside the park in a complete circuit.
Summit Street features a mural portraying Canal District legends like Babe Ruth. Fan can also find Wormtown Brewery, Sherwood Diner, the duckboat "Beantown Betty," A Taste of Worcester, a Cap Car and a new ticket office.
Ricky Duran has released his latest single, "Waiting on You."
Fifty percent of the proceeds from downloads and streams will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Massachusetts Chapter.
