In today's edition - Thursday, December 8 - Worcester Tech is hosting an open house tonight, Unsolved: Worcester interviews former Telegram & Gazette columnist Dianne Williamson, QCC Hosts its first Holiday Expo and Craft Fair, the Worcester Red Sox announce its promotional schedule for the 2023 season and Tito's will donate $1 for every Tito's specialty cocktail ordered at participating locations to the CASA Project Worcester County through Feb. 28.
Students in eighth grade and their families are encouraged to attend an open house tonight from 6 PM to 8 PM at Worcester Technical High School.
Students will have the chance to explore the school's shops and learn about the application process and timeline. Applications will become available at the end of January.

Season 2 of Unsolved: Worcester starts on Thursday, Dec. 15. Over the next week, the true crime, cold case podcast is releasing two special "intermission interviews."
The first interview with former Telegram & Gazette columnist and reporter Dianne Williamson is available today. Williamson discusses the unsolved murder cases of Candace Allen Scola over the 4th of July in 2002, John Volungis, Jr. in February 1992, and Nereida Melendez in early June 1989.

Quinsigamond Community College will be holding its first Holiday Expo/Craft Fair for the college community and the public on Friday, Dec. 9 from 11 AM - 3 PM on QCC’S Main campus, 670 West Boylston St., in the Harrington Learning Center, Room 109 A & B.
Over 50 QCC students, faculty, staff, and alumni will be on site selling handmade and local wares. Goods will include wooden kitchenware from HMD Customs, children’s books from Nana’s Stories, jewelry, accessories, alternative healing services from Intuitive Touch, and home goods from Craft for a Cause, which donates proceeds to community empowerment projects.
The Worcester Red Sox announced their 2023 Promotional Schedule on Wednesday, which includes new features “Taco and Tequila Tuesdays,” “Woof Woof Wednesdays,” and “Throwback Thursdays,” featuring Red Sox Legends.
Friday night fireworks, Saturday “Sunset Catches on the Field” and Family Funday Sundays return for the third straight year.
There are also 23 “Town Takeovers,” and 10 “Heritage Nights" on the schedule.

Opening Day is Friday, March 31, when the Red Sox host the Syracuse Mets. Tickets go on sale on Saturday, Dec. 10.
From Dec. 1 through Feb. 28, Tito's will donate $1 for per Tito's specialty cocktail ordered at participating location to the CASA Project Worcester County.
CASA Project Worcester County trains and coordinates volunteer advocates to be a voice for hundreds of children that have been abused or neglected.
