QCC Introduces Automated Appointment Reminders and Virtual Waiting Queues

Quinsigamond Community College [QCC] is transitioning to more in-person services and courses to prepare for the fall semester. The College plans to continue to offer remote support and services, but is preparing for a much larger on-campus presence in the upcoming academic year.

QCC recently rolled out a new virtual waiting line service called Easy Queue [EZQ].

EZQ enables students to join virtual waiting rooms with several offices on-campus. A student will then receive text message appointment reminders and updates on waiting times.

College President Dr. Luis Pedraja said “We have kept our extensive remote classes and support services, while bringing back in-person classes and continuing to look for ways to assist our students. Removing the barriers that prevent students from attaining their dreams of a better future through higher education is our number one priority.”
