The deal expires on Monday, Sept. 2. Only one offer per delivery order.
Coes Reservoir to Be Closed on Wednesday
The City of Worcester DPW has contracted for the application of the herbicides fluridone and imazamox (trade names Sonar and Clearcast) to Coes Reservoir on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
The City is advising residents to stay out of the water, not to boat or fish, and to keep their pets out of the water for the day.
The use of water from Coes Reservoir for irrigation should be discontinued for the next 90 days. Beaches will be posted prior to the application.
The City said Coes Reservoir will be safe for all uses apart from irrigation on Thursday.

EcoTarium to Host 21+ Night on Friday
The EcoTarium will be hosting a 21-plus night — EcoTarium21 — this Friday, Aug. 23 at 6:30 PM.
This event’s theme is “Nightlife.”
There will be a black light glow zone, an after dark outdoor scavenger hunt, the chance to meet some of the museum’s nocturnal animals, a live planetarium show and a nighttime trivia game.
The event will give attendees exclusive access to EcoTarium’s exhibits and will feature a cash bar with a signature, glowing cocktail and food from Edible Creations by Gerry for purchase.
