Tool Tent Sale to Benefit March of Dimes
Stanley Tools donated over 50 pallets of tools to the March of Dimes for sale for 50% to 80% off retail price.
The tent sale takes place from 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13 on the side of the building at J.E. Cunningham & Associates at 218 Shrewsbury St in Worcester.

Exhibition by Worcester Public Schools Faculty at ArtsWorcester
State of Being: Works by Worcester Public Schools Visual Arts Faculty is being presented in the West Gallery of ArtsWorcester starting on December 3.
The group exhibition that showcases a collection of works across several styles and media created by artists on the Visual Art Faculty of the Worcester Public Schools.
The exhibition features 21 artists from across the school district.
Worcester Public School Visual Arts [WPSVA] faculty members have exhibited together over ten times. State of Being marks the first time the group exhibit will be produced at ArtsWorcester.

QCC Food Pantry Provides Holiday Meals to Students in Need
Quinsigamond Community College’s Food Pantry and Resource Center provided turkeys with all the fixings for 40 students in need this holiday season.
Students in need who did not get a turkey were given $40 gift cards to Market Basket.
QCC President Dr. Luis Pedraja took part in distributing the food and said he was humbled by the students’ need, as well as their gratitude.
“Within the first 35 minutes of opening we distributed all 40 turkeys and a total of 49 students were served in one hour. The students were so thankful for the assistance and said it would make such a difference for them and their families,” Dr. Pedraja said.
A Virtual Christmas Celtic Sojourn to benefit Hanover Theatre
GBH, the National Public Radio [NPR] affiliate in Boston, presents A Virtual Christmas Celtic Sojourn on Wednesday, December 16 at 6:30 PM.
The online experience, built especially for the holiday season, will be presented live by Brian O’Donovan.
For 17 years, GBH and Brian O’Donovan have presented A Christmas Celtic Sojourn, a gathering to celebrate on stage during this darkest time of the year. Each December it draws on Celtic, pagan and Christian traditions to celebrate the season.
Tickets start at $52.50 and help support The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts.

Worcester Accepting Plowing Applications
The City of Worcester Department of Public Works and Parks is accepting applications from snow plowing contractors for this upcoming winter.
There are several equipment and other requirements. The application and instructions can be found on the City of Worcester website.
