53-year-old Worcester Man Arrested for Breaking into Home on Malvern Rd.

WORCESTER – A 53-year-old Worcester man was arrested on Saturday morning for attempting to break into a home on Malvern Rd.

According to the Worcester Police Department [WPD], just after 6:30 AM officers arrived at the Malvern Rd residence and spoke with a witness that said a male had broken into the back porch of his home.

Officers found the suspect — Robert Cook, 53, of 557 Southwest Cutoff.

Officers noticed that the door to the porch had been broken off the hinges. Cook had no valid reason to be on the property, and was placed under arrest for Breaking and Entering in the Daytime and Defacement of Property. He will be arraigned in Worcester District Court.
