“Carolyn’s Garden” Sunflower Festival

Looking to brighten up your weekend? Check out this two-day sunflower festival Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4 from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Community Harvest Project, 37 Wheeler Road in Grafton. There will be flower picking, food trucks, picnic areas, photoshoot opportunities, ice cream, and activities for kids. Buy your tickets and find more information about the festival here.

 

Neighborhood Nature on the Water at Green Hill Park

Get outside this weekend with this fun (and free) outing! Friday, August 2 at 2 PM, meet at Green Hill Park, 50 Skyline Drive in Worcester for an afternoon of canoeing on the water and learning about local wildlife. The event is free and you can find the full details here.

 

Stomp & Brew Fest at Greater Good

On Sunday, August 4, 12 PM to 5 PM, Greater Good Imperial Brew Co. will be transforming their parking lot into a live concert venue. The event will feature many different artists, local Worcester food trucks, and more. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and can be purchased online here. 

Game Night at Grill On The Hill

This Saturday, August 3 from 6 PM to 9 PM, make your way to Grill On the Hill, 1929 Skyline Drive in Worcester for board games, food and appetizers, drinks, and music. Tickets are $30 here, and all donations support the Massachusetts Debt Relief Foundation.

 

Free First Sunday! Worcester Art Museum and the Museum of Russian Icons

Searching the internet for free events this weekend? Look no further than the local Worcester Art Museum and the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton. On the first Sunday of the month, both museums offer free admission. Head over to one (or both) this Sunday, August 4.

 

Spencer Food Truck Festival

If you haven’t had enough of all of the food truck festivals in the past few weeks, you are in luck! The town of Spencer is hosting its own Food Truck Festival this Saturday, August 3 at 12 PM at the Spencer Fair Grounds, 91 Meadow Road, and it is certainly not one to miss. There will be food trucks, vendors, face painting, live music, and more. Admission is $5 on the day of the event.
