Auto Break-Ins Over the Weekend in Grafton, Millbury

Police in Grafton and Millbury reported several vehicle break-ins over the weekend.

In Grafton, incidents of break-ins into automobiles were reported in neighborhoods off of Pleasant St., Millbury St. on Sean Mikeal Way, Blanchard Rd. and the Sunrise area during the early morning hours of Sunday, September 13.

Early in the morning on Saturday, September 12, incidents occurred near Grafton St., Rayburn Dr. and Danielle Dr. in Millbury, according to Millbury Police.

The vehicles being targeted are nearly always those where doors have been left unlocked.

Last week, Southborough Police also reported a series of auto break-ins during the early morning hours on September 9.

In Sutton, police were attempting to identify one suspect from security camera footage captured on August 31 and another was arrested and charged with breaking into vehicles on September 7.

Police departments across the region continually encourage residents to remove valuables from their vehicles and lock car doors.
