WORCESTER – A search warrant served on Southwest Cutoff on Tuesday, July 9, led to the arrest of a local man on drug trafficking charges.
The warrant enabled the search of a black Mercedes and the residence of Tyjuan Berry. Officers saw Berry enter the Mercedes at around 4 PM and followed him to Lovell Street, where they initiated a traffick stop.
Accoprding to the Worcester Police Department, officers discovered what they described as a large amount of cocaine inside the vehicle.
At the Southwest Cutoff residence, a search led to the discovery of additional bags of cocaine and packaging materials.
Berry faces charges of Trafficking in a Class A Substance (cocaine) 36-99 Grams.
