WORCESTER – A body was found at Ted Williams Little League field on Chandler St. in Worcester early Saturday morning.
The body was discovered along the bleachers on the first base side of the park around 7:15 AM and Worcester Police arrived minutes later to investigate.
According to the WPD, the gender of the body is male and the medical examiner has accepted the case and the death is under investigation.
Around 9:25 AM, an officer requested information from dispatch for a “603” on Chandler St. — which is police radio code for “dead person.”
The identity of the victim hasn’t been released.
