WORCESTER —Police are investigating after a body was found at Crystal Pond at University Park in Worcester on Wednesday.
According to the Worcester Police Department, around 10:50 AM dispatch informed officers that someone saw a body floating in the small pond at Crystal Park.
Worcester Police responded to the scene and discovered a deceased male in the water. The identity of the male is unknown at this time.
The body was taken to Medical Examiner’s Office where a post-mortem examination will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the death and the investigation is ongoing.
