Body of Woman Found under Mass Pike Overpass Identified, Sources Say She Jumped from Bridge

WORCESTER – As ThisWeekinWorcester.com reported earlier today, a young woman’s body was found early Monday morning beneath an overpass of the Massachusetts Turnpike.

According to the Grafton News, the woman is Alexandra Valoras, a junior at Blackstone Valley Regional Technical High School. According to multiple sources at the scene this morning and involved in the investigation, early indications are that Valoras jumped from the North Street overpass.

Massachusetts State Police detectives are investigating the young woman’s death whose body was discovered before 7 AM on Monday on the westbound side of the Mass Pike near mile marker 99.4, beneath the North Street overpass in Grafton.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and will officially determine the cause of death.
