Buy One Fare, Get One Free on Amtrak Roomettes from Worcester

WORCESTER – The nationwide passenger railroad service Amtrak — with a Lake Shore Limited passenger line station at Worcester’s Union Station – is having a buy one, get one sale on roomettes from July 7 to July 17.

During the next ten days, you can get a free companion fare — buy one, get one free — valid for travel July 13, 2020 – Sept. 30, 2020.

While aboard the Amtrak train, customers can move around the train, visit the cafe car for beverages or snacks and relax in a private room.

Riders can take the commuter rail from Worcester to South Station in Boston to connect to 12 routes and travel to cities like Chicago, New Orleans, Denver, and even as far west as Seattle.

Here’s how it works:

• When one person purchases a roomette, a friend or loved can join them for free.  
• All prices will be automatically discounted from the standard fare price. To receive this discount, use the Fare Finder from this page or enter code V306 when booking a trip on the Amtrak app.
• An advanced reservation of at least three days is required.
• This offer is valid for one free companion rail fare traveling in the same roomette, with the purchase of one regular full adult fare. The free companion and full fare passengers must travel together in the same room and reserve in the same reservation.
