Victim of Maxwell St. Shooting Dies from Gunshot Wounds

WORCESTER – The victim of Friday’s shooting on Maxwell St. in Worcester has been identified as 19-year-old Brandon Dirsa.

He was shot multiple times late Friday morning in front of 1 Maxwell St. 

The Worcester Police Department has confirmed that Dirsa has died after succumbing to his injuries.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help raise money for Dirsa’s memorial services. 

According to police scanner reports, Dirsa was shot in the head. 

The shooting happened just after 11:30 AM. When officers arrived to 1 Maxwell St., they found Dirsa on the front steps. He was transported to a local hospital by paramedics.

As ThisWeekInWorcester.com reported on Friday, police continue searching for two suspects in the shooting.
