Police Seize Fentanyl, Counterfeit Pills, in Worcester

WORCESTER – Police executed a search warrant at an Elliot Street residence on Wednesday, July 10, leading to the seizure of several drugs and the arrest of a local man.

Officers at the scene observed the target of the warrant, Patrick Butts, 33, exit the residence at around 4:40 PM and detained him.

Inside the residence, a search located what officers believed to be cocaine, counterfeit Oxycodone pills, methamphetamine pills, powdered fentanyl, marijuana, scales, and packaging materials.

Butts faces charges of:

  • Trafficking in a Class A Substance 100-199 Grams (fentanyl and counterfeit oxycodone);
  • Trafficking over 200 Grams in Cocaine;
  • Trafficking in a Class B Substance 18-36 Grams (counterfeit Adderall pills, methamphetamine); and
  • Possession of a Class D Substance with Intent to Distribute.
