The newest addition at Worcester Public Market is a local, women-owned boutique wine shop, Canal District Wines [CDW].

CDW owners Rachel and Olivia Scanlon hold their Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, November 19 at their storefront at 160 Green Street.

The boutique wine shop works with Gilbert Distributors, also woman-owned, to offer 24 curated bottles: eight white, eight red, and eight rosé/specialty ranging from $12 to $28. The selection includes sustainably farmed, certified organic and/or vegan options.

After CDW’s grand opening, CDW General Manager Brittany Kurowski, a level three certified professional from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, will host weekly tastings.

CDW is open Wednesday to Saturday, 11 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday 12 PM to 4 PM.
