CHARLTON – Police in Charlton are looking for a man who escaped police custody Tuesday morning.
Police seek a Hispanic man, 6’2” tall wearing a white shirt and white shorts. When he escaped custody, the man had a handcuff on one and is missing a shoe.
The subject escaped police custody on Route 20, near McGree GMC at 104 Sturbridge Rd.
According to WBZ 4, the man is wanted on assault and attempted murder charges. State Police say they ended their search around 10:15 AM and the man is still at large.
Police ask that anyone who sees the individual does not approach him and instead dial 911.
