WORCESTER – Here’s what’s happening at Taste Great Cakes on Hamilton Street in Worcester on Wednesdays: A chocolate-dipped waffle cone stuffed with cheesecake mixed with oreos, strawberry wafers or Butterfinger candy bar.
Taste Great Cakes’ “Waffle Wednesdays” were a big hit right from the start last week and due to an overwhelming demand, the Grafton Hill cake shop is making the cones a weekly special (possibly daily).
Here’s how the cheesecake stuffed waffle cones are made:
- Taste Great Cakes house-made waffle cone
- the cone is dipped in chocolate and drizzled in more chocolate
- sprinkle on strawberry crunch, oreo pieces or Butterfinger bits
- stuffed with cheesecake
- topped with strawberry wafers and sliced strawberries, or oreos, or Butterfinger pieces
