WORCESTER – The honor of being dubbed the 2018 Mac Daddy is up for grabs later this month in Worcester.

The Annual Mac Daddy Vegan Mac & Cheese Cook-Off will take place on January 27 at Technocopia in downtown Worcester.

Participants are asked to bring their cheesiest pasta dish with the following guidelines:

  • All dishes must be vegan — that means no dairy, meat, eggs, or other animal products.
  • Each dish must include two components: (1) pasta of some size and shape and (2) a “cheezy” sauce. Only one entry per person or group so make it a good one, potential Mac Daddies!
  • Bring enough to taste-test and enough to share, and also bring your own serving utensils, utensils and plates for green’s sake.
  • Dishes must be ready to eat. No on-site heating or cooking possible.

The event takes place from 6 to 8 PM and will also feature a raffle. Competitors need to bring their dishes to Technocopia by 5:30 PM.
