Firefighter Christoper Pace is in stable condition, according to the Worcester Fire Department.
Pace sustained injuries in the Wednesday morning fire at 7 Stockholm Street where Lieutenant Jason Menard lost his life. Menard is said to have saved Pace’s life by helping him escape through a third-floor window during the fire.
In a statement, the Fire Department, Pace and his family thanked the community for the support and well wishes they’ve received since he was injured.
