See the List: Worcester City Council Candidates’ Campaign Money to Date

WORCESTER – With the City of Worcester preliminary election for At-Large City Council and School Committee less than two months away, ThisWeekinWorcester.com checked in to see how much money the campaigns of the At-Large City Council candidates have raised.

Of the 15 At-Large candidates that remain in the race, only 12 will move past the Sept. 10 primary. The general election for At-Large Council seats, district council seats and school committee seats will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

SEE LIST BELOW: At-Large and District Councilor Candidates’ Campaign Money to date

Naturally, the incumbents — with the exception of Councilor At-Large Gary Rosen — have a substantial amount more campaign money than those that are challenging for their seats.

Although the At-Large race is heavily contested, the only district seat that is being challenged is in District 5 which is currently held by Matt Wally. Johnhaynes B. Honeycutt is running against Wally for the seat.

All combined, the candidates in both the At-Large and district seat races have more than $220k in campaign money as of 6/30/19.

Note: Since school committee candidates only submit their finance reports to the City at least eight days prior to the preliminary election, they will not be found in the list below. ThisWeekinWorcester.com will have those reports in late August.
