City of Worcester to Launch Beach Wheelchair Access System

WORCESTER – The City of Worcester announced that a beach wheelchair access system at two of the city’s beaches on July 1.

The wheelchair access system will be in place at Binienda Memorial Beach and Shore Park Beach and will feature specially designed beach mats and wheelchairs that are equipped to enter the water. The system will be available at the beaches from 12 PM to 7 PM when the beaches are open for public use.
