City Reports 8 New COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Total to 27

WORCESTER – Worcester City Manager Ed Augustus reported eight new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Worcester.

There are now 27 positive cases of COVID-19 in Worcester.

Augustus also announced the town of Grafton now has four confirmed cases, while Shrewsbury has three and Holden two.

Homeless Shelter Program

Worcester has three temporary homeless shelters at North High School, St. John’s Church and Ascension Church.

Across all three locations, 61 beds are currently filled and capacity remains for an additional 14.
