WORCESTER – Clark University announced on Monday, March 29, the establishment of the Becker School of Design & Technology at Clark University.
Clark made the announcement on the same day that the Board of Trustee at Becker College announce it would close at the end of the current academic year.
The new program at Clark will allow a path forward for students in Becker’s nationally ranked Interactive Media Design (Game Design) program and associated concentrations at both the undergraduate and graduate (MFA) levels. Students in the Esports Management program and the Integrated Graphic Design programs also have Clark as an option to continue in their program.
School of Design & Technology Dean Alan Ritacco and Associate Dean Paul Cotnoir will continue their leadership roles in the newly established school at Clark. Many faculty members from the School of Design & Technology will also transition to Clark.
Becker students in Business, Criminology, and Computer Science also will have pathways at Clark to complete their degrees.
