The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a list of antimicrobial products suitable for use against Coronavirus.
Many of these products are marketed under several brand names which can make purchasing decisions difficult. However, each product that is EPA approved has a product number on its label.
This number enables consumers to avoid confusion caused by brand and packaging.
This labeling system has three sets of numbers separated by a hyphen. Numbers might look something like 12345-67-89.
The first two set of numbers [123345] indicate the company while the second set of numbers [-67] indicate the product.
The third set [-34] indicates the distributor, which is not important for product identification purposes.
