WORCESTER – The office of US Attorney Rachael Rollins announced charges against two individuals from Leominster for conspiring to distribute counterfeit Adderall containing methamphetamine in large quantities.
Chanhda Onesyvieng, 48, and Bonnie Bounkong Namsaly, 45, both of Leominster, face charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, controlled substances.
According to the US Attorney’s office, in early April 2023, federal law enforcement responded to information that Onesyvieng was distributing counterfeit Adderall.
During a traffic stop on April 28 in Worcester, law enforcement seized two kilograms of counterfeit Adderall pills, which contained methamphetamine, and 135 grams of cocaine allegedly in Onesyvieng and Namsaly’s possession.
During a search of their home in Leominster, an additional kilogram of counterfeit Adderall and and a kilogram of cocaine was allegedly seized, along with $60,000 in cash.
Both made an initial court appearance on May 1. Onesyvieng was held pending trial, while Namsaly was released with conditions.
The charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, controlled substances provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release and a fine of up to $1 million.
