WORCESTER – Police arrested a local man on Tuesday, Sept. 10, for a commercial break in.

According to the Worcester Police Department, officers responded to a report of a break in at a business on Green Street on Saturday, Sept. 7. The business reported that someone entered the location overnight and stole money from the cash register.

The officer saw the suspect on surveillance video at the business.

On Tuesday, at around 12:30 AM, the same officer saw a man allegedly wearing the same clothes as the man seen on the surveillance video while on patrol near Kelley Square.

The officer stopped the man, Rafael Crespi, 30, of Worcester, and identified him as the man in the video, according to the department.
