Crompton Park Pool Reopens Thursday, Bell Pond Beach Closed

The City of Worcester announced on Wednesday, July 7, that Crompton Park Pool will reopen on Thursday, July 8. The pool is open from noon to 7 PM.

Crompton Park Pool closed on Friday, July 2, after an incident of vandalism.

Bell Pond Beach remains closed because of staffing shortages after the stabbing of a lifeguard on Sunday, July 4.

Three other City beaches are open from noon to 7 PM:

  • Indian Lake Beach at 34 Sherburne Avenue
  • John J. Binienda Memorial Beach at Coes Pond 181 Mill Street
  • Shore Park Beach at  85 Shore Drive

Two Spray Parks are also open from noon to 7 PM

  • Cristoforo Colombo/East Spray Park at 180 Shrewsbury Street
  • Greenwood Spray Park at 2 Forsberg St
