FITCHBURG – Jeremey Cruz, 36, of Leominster was held without bail on a murder charges in Fitchburg District Court on Tuesday.
The charges against Cruz charge him with stabbing Jesus Maisonet Davila, 45, of Fitchburg, on July 1 near 199 Main St. in Fitchburg. Davila remained hospitalized until his death on Aug. 6.
Cruz faced charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and armed assault to murder. He was found dangerous by a judge in Fitchburg District Court and held without bail during a July 10 hearing.
