WORCESTER – Police arrested a local man on Sunday, July 28, after allegedly seeing a transaction on Main Street.
Officers on patrol in the area saw two men and a woman outside of a business at shortly after 11 PM. The owner of the business asked police to enforce its “no trespassing” signs.
One man appeared to remove something from his mouth and manipulate it, and the woman counted cash before a transfer occurred, according to police. The second male also appeared to conduct a transaction.
Police caught up with the second man, who handed the officers what appeared to be cocaine.
Officers located the first man, later identified as Jose Davila-Pizzaro, 39, of Worcester, on Main Street. Upon conducting a search, police say they discovered fentanyl rolled up in his groin area. He was arrested and faces charges of:
- Possession of a Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute;
- Distribution of a Class B Substance; and
- Trespassing
