WORCESTER – Due to the forecasted snowstorm, the City of Worcester has put a Declared Winter Parking Ban in effect today — Sunday, Dec. 1 — beginning at 10 AM.
IMPORTANT: There is No Parking on either side of any main arteries, bus routes, and streets in the downtown area. On all other streets, parking is only permitted on the odd numbered side of the street, unless otherwise posted.
City-owned Public Parking Garages will be open for parking free of charge during the Declared Winter Parking Ban beginning on Sunday at 2 PM.
Parking enforcement—including ticketing and towing—will be active during the Declared Winter Parking Ban.
The City will announce when the declared ban has been lifted. ThisWeekinWorcester.com will update this page when the ban is lifted.
The Fall Leaf Collection Program will resume during the week beginning December 2, 2019, after any necessary storm cleanup.

The Worcester Police Department [WPD] has issued a response to the independent review and report of the arrest of 19 protesters on the night of June 1.
