Here’s How to Dispose of Your Tree in Worcester After Christmas

WORCESTER – From Thursday, Dec. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 5, city residents can dispose of their real trees free of charge at three of the city’s drop-off sites.

The city drop-off sites are:

  • 1065 Millbury Street (next to the VFW Post)
  • 300 Chandler Street (in the parking lot across from Foley Stadium)
  • 299 Clark Street (near the East Mountain St. intersection)

The hours non-artificial trees will be accepted are:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM to 3 PM
  • Saturdays: 9 AM to 4 PM
  • Sundays (Millbury St. location only): 9 AM to 4 PM

Please note that all three locations are closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1.
