42-year-old Worcester Man Victim of Fatal Stabbing

WORCESTER – A 42-year-old Worcester man was the victim of a fatal stabbing early Friday morning.

According to the Worcester Police Department [WPD], Jennifer Algarin, 32, of Worcester was arrested at the scene. 

Police said Algarin and the victim had been dating for more than three years. 

WPD officers responded to a Dixfield St. address just before 9 AM on Friday after a 911 caller reported a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they found the male victim suffering from a stab wound to his torso. He was treated on scene and transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Algarin is being charged with Assault and Battery by means of a dangerous weapon (knife), with serious bodily injury resulting.

She will appear in court in Worcester on Monday.
