DUDLEY – A traffic stop by police in Dudley during the early morning of Saturday, March 20, led to drug charges against a local man.
An officer assigned to traffic control on West main St. [Rt. 197] observed a red Saturn Vue traveling eastbound on West Main St. near Mason Rd around 1 AM. The vehicle had plates attached which belonged to another vehicle.
During the vehicle stop the officer identified a passenger as Joshua Bullard, 31, of Dudley.
The investigation led to the discovery of two knives, 57 grams of cocaine and around 12 grams of heroin in Bullard’s possession. He also had drug paraphernalia and over $3,000 in cash.
Held on $25,000 bail, Bullard faces charges of:
- Trafficking Class B Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Heroine
The officer issued the vehicle owner a criminal citation for attaching plates and operating an unregistered, uninsured vehicle.
