The checkpoint will take place from Saturday evening, June 15 into Sunday morning, June 16.
According to MSP, the purpose of the sobriety checkpoint is to “educate the motoring public and strengthen the public’s awareness to the need of detecting and removing those motorists who operate under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs from our roadways.”
The checkpoint will be operated during random hours.
The State Police assures that officers will select vehicles at random and that safety will be a priority.
