The ECHL announced the league has postponed the Worcester Railers games through December 19 due to League Health and Safety Protocols.

The league provided no other information and no make-up dates for the games were announced.

The Railers’ scheduled had the team travelling to Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania to face the Reading Royals for a weekend three-game set on Friday and Saturday night, followed by a matinee game at the same location on Sunday.

The Railers’ last game, Saturday, December 11, was at the DCU Center in a 4-2 win over the Maine Mariners.

With the weekend games in Reading postponed, the team won’t compete again until Sunday, December 26, when they again host the Mariners.

The Railers first 19 games of this season resulted in an 8-10 record and an additional shootout loss, for 17 points on the season and last place in the North Division, one point behind 5th place Maine.
